Rashmika Mandanna Reacts To Reports Of Becoming The Highest-Paid Actress In India After Pushpa 2

Rashmika Mandanna, one of the most sought-after stars in Indian cinema, is gearing up for her highly-anticipated release, Pushpa 2: The Rule, opposite Allu Arjun. Slated to hit theaters on December 5, 2024, the sequel has already generated massive buzz, with Rashmika’s portrayal of Srivalli being one of its highlights. However, recent rumors suggesting that she has become India’s highest-paid actress after Pushpa 2 have caught the actress’s attention.

At the closing ceremony of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024 in Goa, Rashmika addressed these claims head-on. “That I don’t agree with at all, because that is not true,” she said, dismissing the reports.

Speaking about the significance of IFFI, Rashmika reflected on what film festivals mean to her. “Film Festival, what it means to me is celebration. It’s where all of us celebrate our films—films we shoot for over one, two, three, or four years together. Finally, we get to celebrate them, and I’m grateful for it,” she said.

While Rashmika may have denied being the highest-paid actress, her financial trajectory tells a compelling story. According to reports, she was paid a whopping Rs. 10 crore for her role in Pushpa 2. This puts her among the highest earners in the industry. Additionally, her net worth is estimated to be Rs. 45 crore, as reported by Financial Express.

Apart from the much-awaited sequel, Rashmika has another big-ticket project lined up—Sikandar, alongside Salman Khan. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced under Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner, the film is set for an Eid 2025 release.

Sikandar boasts an ensemble cast including Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi. With a mix of powerhouse performances and star-studded names, the film is expected to be a major box-office draw.
