Los Angeles authorities searching for girl who left for school but never arrived 

Police and the family of a young girl who left for school but never arrived last week are turning to the public for help in locating her. 

According to a Los Angeles Police Department missing juvenile bulletin, 14-year-old Promise Harvey was last seen heading to school near the 300 block of 88th Place in South Los Angeles on the morning of Nov. 14. 

She was reported missing by her family the following morning at 6 a.m. after it was discovered that she never made it to school on the 14th

While it was not disclosed which exact school Promise attended, the 300 block of 88th Place is adjacent to the campuses of Watts Learning Center Middle School and Mervyn M. Dymally High School.

Promise is described as standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 110 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink shirt, tan pants and black and blue shoes.
